In the bustling heart of Hong Kong, 2012, the city stands on the precipice of a grand celebration—fifteen years since its return to the People's Republic. As anticipation mounts, the world eagerly awaits the unveiling of the illustrious Haiman Collection, a treasure trove of art never before seen by the public. The honor of curating this prestigious exhibition falls to Victoria Philips, an esteemed art expert from Berlin. But mere hours after her arrival, disaster strikes—the priceless collection vanishes into the shadows of the night.

With the clock ticking, Victoria must navigate a labyrinth of suspicion and intrigue to secure high-quality replacements. Yet, she faces icy hostility from Chinese collectors, wary of entrusting their legacy to a European outsider. Amidst the turmoil, an unexpected ally emerges in the charismatic nightclub owner, Edward Lim, whose charm and unexpected assistance only deepen the mystery.

As passions ignite and the stakes soar, Inspector Braddock's suspicions cast a shadow over Edward, hinting at his entanglement in the audacious heist.
