Biografía
Lauren was raised in the entertainment industry, beginning as a professional musical theater performer in Chicago, evolving into a mini Streisand, and later a Disney kid. She portrayed Young Barbra in Barbra Streisand's "Timeless" Tour, performing duets with Streisand at venues like the Staples Center, Madison Square Garden, stadiums in Sydney and Melbourne, Australia, and featured on the multi-platinum Columbia Records album. Subsequently, she starred as a lead in Disney Channel's "Even Stevens," alongside Shia LaBeouf.
Lauren possesses extensive experience in comedy writing and performance. Her work has appeared on platforms such as Buzzfeed, Daily Motion, Funny or Die, College Humor, and the LAFF Network. A graduate of Second City Hollywood and Upright Citizens Brigade, she is a main stage sketch comedy and improvisational performer whose original shows have been showcased on the Comedy Central Stage, iO West, UCB, Chicago Sketch Fest, and more. She has earned accolades including Best Scripted Show at the Del Close Awards, Finalist at the LA Scripted Comedy Fest, and Winner at the LA Improv Festival. Additionally, Lauren co-created and executive produced Funny Women Fest, Los Angeles’ only all-womxn comedy festival, featuring both celebrity and indie comedians, supported by prominent figures in the entertainment world.
As a vocalist and songwriter, Lauren has performed at prestigious venues such as the Hollywood Bowl, the Kennedy Center, Heinz Hall, The American Film Institute, Double Door, and Hotel Cafe. She has provided voice work for commercials and jingles for brands including Crest, State Farm, Disney, and Hal Leonard Publishing.
