Lanre Adigun is a Houston, Texas-based actor, writer, director, and content creator originally from Providence, Rhode Island. His passion for performance began early, inspired by watching Beverly Hills Cop with his father and believing he could one day bring the same energy and charisma to the screen as Eddie Murphy. After years of creating online content beginning in 2012, Lanre built a digital audience that has since amassed millions of views worldwide through his sharp, character-driven and culturally rooted comedy.
In 2017, Lanre took his storytelling to the next level by creating his own web series, which he wrote, directed, and starred in, marking the start of his professional acting journey. He has trained with Boston Casting, The Green Room Acting Studio, Providence Improv Guild, and James Ciccioni, while also incorporating the principles of Sanford Meisner’s work into his craft. His acting style is rooted in honesty and grounded realism, with a natural comedic edge.
