Biografía
Boris Ausserer is a producer at Lucky Bird Pictures. Born in Annecy, France, he has family roots in South Tyrol, Italy. He graduated from Munich Film School in 1998, supplementing his education with stays in Cambridge, Paris, New York, and Los Angeles. Boris began his career at MTM Filmproduktion before quickly moving to Bavaria Film Group as a junior producer. In 2000, just a year later, he became a producer for international co-productions with Bavaria Media Television. From 2003 until his departure to Lucky Bird Pictures GmbH, he served as Deputy Head of International Co-Production. During this period, he contributed to the development and financing of numerous TV co-productions, including La Bicyclette Bleue, Die Auferstehung, Sans Famille, Tatort - Tödliche Souvenirs, Kitchen Affairs, Heinrich Breloer's docudrama Speer & Hitler - The Devil's Architect, Der Todestunnel, White Menace - The Avalanche of the Century, and Henri IV. His collaborations involved major European partners like TF1, Mediaset, Rai, France2, M6, TVC, TVN, and ORF. In 2008, Boris joined Lucky Bird Pictures as a producer, working on international co-productions such as the ARD two-part series The Chinese Man, Little Lady (ZDF), and the Sat.1 TV movie Sex Sells!. His recent works include Ghosthunters - On Icy Trails, adapted from Cornelia Funke's novel, and 13 Minutes (also known as Elser).
