Vibrant, gifted, stunning, and captivating, Udana Power has been captivating audiences for more than forty years.
Throughout her extensive and distinguished career, Udana starred on Broadway alongside Katharine Hepburn, guest-starred with notable names such as William Shatner, Henry Winkler, and Suzanne Somers, led her own television series, and featured in over 250 TV commercials.
From her debut on television in 1971’s Ironside, it was clear Udana possessed that special star quality—an unmistakable charisma. Her lively roles became a fixture on TV from the '70s through the '90s, appearing in beloved shows like Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley, Kolchak: The Night Stalker, Soap, Hawaii Five-O, Knots Landing, and Murder, She Wrote, among many others.
Just as her versatile talent seemed boundless, a serious health setback interrupted her life and career, leaving her nearly bedridden for a decade.
Undeterred, Udana dedicated herself to regaining her health and vitality—and she triumphed. Reemerging with renewed vigor and focus, she wrote her own films, created, produced, and starred in a one-woman show, and authored three books. Most recently, she reinvented herself once more as an entrepreneur, turning her innate ability to engage audiences into a thriving business career.
Today, Udana is a whirlwind of creative and entrepreneurial endeavors. She is engaged in writing several books, including children’s and motivational titles, developing multiple screenplays, singing and coaching vocals, and fulfilling her role as a nationally acclaimed business leader.
Reflecting on her past is rare for Udana; her gaze is firmly fixed on the future.
