Frank is deeply grateful to Bobby Flay for the exposure the show provided him.
Passionate about both acting and cooking, Frank graduated from Long Island City High School. His family has been involved in the meat business since 1910, operating in the heart of Greenwich Village. In 1988, Frank left the family business, North Pole Meat Market, to become a buyer of meat, fish, and poultry at the renowned Waldorf Astoria hotel. Later, he pursued a broadcasting course at Announcer Training Studios, fulfilling a long-held ambition, where he discovered his love for acting.
He continued his studies with various acting classes throughout New York City, including Stella Adler’s Acting Conservatory, Michael Howard Studio, and Young Actors Workshop. There, he trained under acting coach and former high school English teacher Bernard Rachel, a close friend who continuously encouraged him to persevere. Frank performed in several Off-Broadway productions and dinner theater shows, such as Tony and Tina’s Wedding. He starred in and co-wrote the Off-Broadway dinner theater production The Godfathers Messhugener Wedding, which ran for five years.
Frank began his professional acting career in 1995 and has remained active ever since. When not acting, he works as a Teamster in the Theatrical Local 817 union. He also occasionally returns to butchering, especially during the holidays. A lover of Italian music and cuisine, Frank feels truly blessed to do what he loves for a living and thanks God daily for the opportunities he’s been given. Taking life one day at a time, he couldn’t have imagined a better path.
