Biografía
Victoria Beard is a two-time Canadian Sync Award-winning, Toronto-based music supervisor at The Wilders, former touring bass player, and law graduate from Melbourne, Australia. She began her career in music supervision at Rock Steady Music before joining Entertainment One in 2016. Following its acquisition by Hasbro in 2019, she continued overseeing music for film, television, and iconic brands, including 87 episodes and specials of the beloved global franchise My Little Pony (Netflix) and three seasons of Moonshine (CBC). In 2022, she joined the award-winning team of music supervisors, composers, producers, and songwriters at The Wilders.
Victoria has received multiple Guild of Music Supervisors Award nominations for her work on Wayward (Netflix), Small Achievable Goals (CBC), Blue Bayou (Focus Features), Paid in Full: The Battle for Black Music (Green Door Pictures), winner, Canadian Sync Award - Best Sync: Soundtrack, Documentary Film or Docuseries, and Fancy Dance (Confluential Films), winner, Canadian Sync Award - Best Sync: Scene, Feature, or Documentary Film, and the International Music + Sound Award for Best Sync in a Film.
Her current projects include Netflix's adaptation of Carly Fortune's This Summer Will Be Different and the upcoming CBC/APTN limited series Cold Country. Recent feature film credits include In the Heart of the South (Mixtape VR), Any Other Night (Film Forge), & Sons (Infinity Hill), and Sweetness (Fela).
