Biografía
Mikki Val was born in Flint, Michigan. She discovered her passion for acting at age 15 while attending Weist Barron Commercial School in Detroit, Michigan. From that pivotal moment, she decided to pursue acting as a career. After graduating from high school, Mikki moved to Los Angeles and enrolled at the renowned Inner City Cultural Center for Performing Arts, where she refined her acting, singing, and dancing abilities for upcoming roles.
Carroll O'Connor cast Mikki in her first speaking role on the popular series "In the Heat of the Night." Bolstered by this experience, Mikki secured prominent roles in "Out All Night" alongside Patti LaBelle, and "Poetic Justice" with Janet Jackson and Tupac Shakur. She continued to appear in numerous television shows and films, including "House Party 3," "Silk Stalkings," "The Young and the Restless," among many others. In addition to acting, Mikki is a skilled composer and singer; her song "Were You Thinking of Me" is featured on the "Night Vision" soundtrack, a film starring and directed by Fred Williamson. In 2001, she was honored with a Proclamation and the Key to the City of Flint, Michigan, from Mayor Woodrow Stanley, declaring September 4th as "Mikki Val Day."
Mikki starred as Chili Peppa in the film "Rhapsody," acting alongside Glenn Plummer, Ice-T, Freda Payne, and Cindy from En Vogue. She also appeared opposite Bernie Casey in "On the Edge." Additionally, she played Capt. Connie Richards in the movie "Vegas Vamps," co-starring with Daniel Baldwin, Glenn Plummer, Tiny Lister, and Jaqueline Fleming.
Her recent projects include "Miracle Run," where she co-stars with Mary Louise Parker; "The Brooke Ellison Story," directed by the late Christopher Reeve, featuring Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio and John Slattery; "Searching for David's Heart," in which she plays a volleyball coach; and "Tournament of Dreams," opposite Debbie Allen. Mikki also appears in the film "Just My Luck," starring Lindsay Lohan, where she acts alongside Lindsay.
