Biografía
Born under Romania's communist regime, a Latin nation nestled in predominantly Slavic Eastern Europe, Cain spent his first seven years enduring extreme poverty and fear under the dictatorship and its secret police, the "Securitate." He read about items like blue jeans, chocolate, and sodas in books and dictionaries but never encountered them until long after communism fell in 1989. Despite these harsh conditions, Cain’s passion for acting flourished. As a child, he took part in every kindergarten and school play and even organized small performances with other children for their neighbors.
Over time, his love for theater evolved into a passion for film. Cain became an avid movie enthusiast, watching countless films on translated videocassettes that emerged on the Romanian market. Years later, after extensive English studies and extracurricular activities, he enrolled at the prestigious Phillips Exeter Academy in Exeter, New Hampshire. There, he took his first acting classes and directed his debut play, Christopher Durang's "The Living Room." He also performed as Joseph Surface in Richard Brinsley Sheridan's "The School for Scandal" and as Rosencrantz in Tom Stoppard's "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead."
Later, Cain moved to Boston and majored in advertising, a field related to entertainment but distinct from it. During the summer before his junior year, while visiting Bucharest, he walked into the offices of Sony Music Romania and demanded a meeting with the A&R director, who was also the company head. Impressed, the director offered Cain a contract on the spot. A year later, Cain released his debut album "Break The Game Rules," featuring the single "All She Wants Is The Money." The provocative video, depicting a simulated sex orgy with top Romanian models and Cain at the center, sparked significant attention, leading to numerous appearances on local TV shows.
A year later, after pausing his music career due to contractual issues, Cain auditioned for the "Return of the Living Dead" film series. Originally slated to read for the role of Zeke, he instead chose to pursue the more relaxed, comedic character Jeremy, stepping away from his previous "bad boy" image.
Since completing "Return of the Living Dead 5: Rave to the Grave," Cain has co-hosted the TV show "I'd Do Anything" and filmed a major supporting role in the upcoming thriller "Catacombs," starring Pink.
