Nicole Stuart is an actress and celebrity trainer based in Los Angeles. Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, she moved to New York City at eighteen to study acting at Stella Adler after being accepted into the UCSB School of Dance. Following a brief performance in a Las Vegas revue, Nicole relocated to Los Angeles, where she has lived ever since. She has appeared in film and television, most notably in Devil's Due and House of Lies. Nicole is also a respected theatre actress, receiving acclaim for her recent role in Modigliani at the Open Fist Theatre in Los Angeles, with reviews praising her as "Electric support by Nicole Stuart," (StageSceneLA) and "the voluptuously graceful yet ballsy performance of Nicole Stuart" (Backstage), among others.
Her first short film, Captain, was accepted into festivals such as Dances With Film, Indie Fest, Brooklyn Film Festival, Kentucky Film Festival, and West Virginia Filmmakers Festival, where it won the Audience Award. Written by Jack Sundmacher and Nicole Stuart, starring Nicole Stuart, Bjørn Johnson, and Jack Sundmacher, directed by Max Cady, and produced by Caitlin Renée Campbell/Renwick Productions, Captain is a dark comedy hailed as a "Must See Festival Film."
The film’s quirky narrative conceals its mystery within a 14-minute runtime, with the real highlight being the dynamic interactions between the actors. Written by Stuart and Sundmacher, and directed by Cady, the film benefits from a director who allows the actors to fully embody and explore the material.
Nicole has been featured in numerous magazines, including People, W Magazine, US Weekly, InStyle, and Cosmopolitan. She also appeared on MSNBC.com alongside Faith Ford in the "Mind, Body, Balance" web series, which garnered over 4 million views.
