Biografía
Production Designer Oana Bogdan Miller has a rich background in Art Direction, Creature Effects, and Interior Design. She has worked as a Production Designer on TV series such as "Justified" (FX), "Dark Blue" (TNT), "The Ex List" (CBS), and "Kamen Rider - Dragon Knight" (CW). Additionally, she has designed multiple short films and a public service announcement. Her film career began in 1992 with creature effects on Roland Emmerich's "Stargate." Since then, Oana has produced and art directed creature and special effects for films including "Underworld 1 & 2," "Sky High," "I, Robot," "Stuart Little," and "Godzilla." Her art direction credits also include "Mindhunter," "Castle Rock," "Justified," "Hawaii 5-0," "Four Christmases," "Criminal Minds," "Cold Case," "Without a Trace," "24," "Vanilla Sky," and several Linkin Park music videos.
In 2009, Oana founded "PAINT:LAB," a community art studio open to the public, encouraging creative expression through painting on canvas. The studio also serves as a flexible venue for events such as birthday parties, fundraisers, and art exhibitions.
Oana earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design from Syracuse University in 1990. Born in Bucharest, Romania, she lived for two years in Algeria and several months in Austria before her family immigrated to New York City.
