Donnalyn Jereos Bartolome is a versatile Filipina artist celebrated as a singer-songwriter, rapper, actress, and influential digital content creator, often dubbed the "Social Media Sweetheart" or "Philippines' Social Media Goddess."
Born to a businesswoman mother and a Senior Chief Petty Officer father in the U.S. Navy, Bartolome began her online journey at 14, starting on YouTube to stay connected with friends after her family relocated due to her father's military service. Her channel quickly gained traction by featuring makeup tutorials, dance routines, and song covers, before her reach expanded significantly on Facebook. Currently, she boasts a vast following with over 16 million Facebook followers, 7 million on Instagram, and 8.3 million on TikTok. Her YouTube channel, the most subscribed by a singer-songwriter in the Philippines, has surpassed 10 million subscribers as of mid-2024.
At 16, Bartolome signed with Viva Records and Flipmusic, releasing original songs and joining the Viva Artists roster. She also secured a film contract with Viva Entertainment. Her hits "Kakaibabe," part of the Diary ng Panget soundtrack, and "LM4M" propelled her into mainstream success. Her album Happy Break Up further cemented her music career, with its title track becoming a major hit. Both "Kakaibabe" and "Happy Break Up" held the record for the most viewed music videos by a solo female artist under Viva Records for five years.
In addition to her solo projects, Bartolome appeared in music videos like Jireh Lim's "Magkabilang Mundo" and Ryan Bang's "Shopping." Her acting credits include Your Place or Mine? (2015) alongside Andi Eigenmann, Darkroom (2017), and a lead role in the thriller Cry No Fear (2018) with Ella Cruz. She also featured in Tililing (2021) and Bakit Lahat Ng Gwapo May Boyfriend, with cameo roles in the comedies Praybeyt Benjamin 2 and Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy.
Returning to music, Bartolome released her third album, Surprise, featuring the reflective lead single "Di Lahat" (2019), for which she directed the star-studded music video. She also directed the video for "HBD (Birthday Mo)" (2019), featuring Skusta Clee, Smugglaz, Bassilyo, and Zaito. In 2021, she released the rap single "O.M.O. (On My Own)," whose video amassed over 22 million views.
