Participated in the American Film Market & Conference, Santa Monica, California, November 2017. Callumny Films represents scripts across various genres for international co-productions. Also attended Marche du Cannes in 2020.
Festival Credits: Sacrifice (2016) – Official Selection at the 2016 and 2017 On Vous Mont Mockumentary Film Festival (Lyon, France). In 2015, Sean took on multiple roles both behind and in front of the camera for George Kalpa's music mockumentary docu-fiction drama 'Sacrifice'. Besides portraying 'Shawn - digital consultant', he wrote the screenplay and served as Associate Producer. This marked his third collaboration with Kalpa.
Released: LEATHERDADDY (feature-length, 90 mins), filmed July/August 2017 in Paris, France (French with English subtitles). LEATHERDADDY is the debut film from writer/director/producer Nicky Murphy, an emerging auteur in world cinema with a strong, career-focused vision, operating independently from studio systems.
CREATIVE PRODUCER: Creator and launcher of the innovative script reading series 'A Fistful of Scripts', first presented at Theatre Works, St Kilda in July 2010. Completed an intensive three-week Creative Writing course at the University of Oxford, UK, in August 2010. A frequent contributor to 'The Turl Times' (Oxford, UK), his writing encompasses personal essays and short stories.

In 2012, Sean worked as playwright and executive producer on 'Lounge Theatre', a unique 'micro theatre' project for Melbourne and international audiences. During its 2012 Melbourne Fringe Festival season at The Butterfly Club, the production earned a three-star review from 'The Age' after an unprecedented run of 19 shows across three venues over three months.

Festival Credits: Selected for Melbourne Theatre Company's 2015 NEON Festival, Sean's play 'KIDS' was inspired by 'Juegos A La Hora De La Siesta' by Polish-Argentinian playwright Roma Mahieu. The play offers a critical, subversive, and highly political commentary on the Argentinean dictatorship and sold out its performances.
In September 2015, 'KIDS' (also known as 'Games Before Hometime') was presented at the MTC 2015 NEON Festival in a sold-out show (a collaboration between MTC Connect and Multicultural Arts Victoria). The play, told through the perspectives of seven children from diverse multicultural backgrounds, explores pressing societal issues in Australia within a single middle-class playground setting, focusing on themes of contribution, enrichment, integration, and exclusion.
'A Kind of Destiny' was a finalist at Crash Test Drama (March 2012) and received two Best Actor awards for the role of Judas.
His short play 'The Pickup' was selected among the top 30 finalists from over 1,100 submissions for Short and Sweet (Melbourne 2005 and Sydney 2006), the world’s largest short play festival.
ACTOR: With over 50 film credits alongside television, commercials, and theatre, Sean McIntyre’s acting portfolio showcases a wide range of roles.
His second collaboration with writer/director Daniel Armstrong (Strongman Pictures), the key lead role in 'Tarnation' (2016), premiered at MonsterFest 2017 in Melbourne, Australia. Sean also played 'Mayor Jack Whiteman' in Armstrong’s 'SheBorg Massacre', which screened officially at the 2017 SITGES Festival Internacional de Cinema Fantàstic de Catalunya, Spain. Recently, he appeared as the informant 'McCauley' in Matthew Holmes’ Australian western 'The Legend of Ben Hall' (executive producer Greg McLean of 'Wolf Creek').
Other notable roles include appearances in the sci-fi romantic drama 'Time Apart', the award-winning 'Monster Pies', Working Dogs’ 'Any Questions For Ben?', the Australian/Ethiopian crime drama 'Found In A Dream', and 'The Three Ages of Sasha'. For two consecutive years, Sean played prominent lead roles at the Melbourne Underground Film Festival: in 'The Side Entrance' (2013), which won Best Short Film and Best Actor, and 'The Mane Man' (2014), also awarded Best Short Film and Best Actor.
His films have screened at festivals including Melbourne International Film Festival, Melbourne Queer Film Festival (where 'Monster Pies' won Best Film in 2013), and the 48 Hour Film Project (winner of Best Cinematography and Best Sound Design in 2012). Additional international screenings include festivals in Boston, Los Angeles, Spain, Estonia, Munich, and Leeds.
