Biografía
Will Klipstine was born in Gilroy, CA, known as the garlic capital of the world, to two school teachers. His father was a decorated Vietnam War officer. Growing up, he moved frequently throughout the San Francisco Bay area, attending nine different schools. After winning acting awards in middle school, high school, and college, Will relocated to Los Angeles.
On June 18, 1996, Klipstine experienced a traumatic event when a gun was held to his head for 15 minutes during a failed robbery attempt. Although this occurred two years after his move to L.A., he cites this moment as pivotal, realizing the fragility of life and deciding that an unpursued life is unfulfilled.
Within a few years, he secured his first leading role in a feature film. Following four callbacks and an intense final casting session between two finalists, he won the lead in another indie film the following year. He has starred in three independent films, acted in numerous others, appeared in dozens of short films, and performed in over twenty plays.
His sophomore film, The Evolution of Andrew Andrews, won awards on the festival circuit and was distributed domestically by Vanguard Cinema and internationally by Go Digital.
His web series, Mr. Mom Talk Show, received a 97%-100% "funny" rating on Will Ferrell's website funnyordie.com and was picked up by Blip.tv (Disney). Although Blip is now defunct, "Mr. Mom Talk Show Highlights" remains available on YouTube.
His upcoming film, a western musical comedy titled Saddle Up!, ranked in the top 10 on Slated out of more than 5,300 movies.
