Biografía
Dani was born in Beirut, Lebanon, and relocated to Sweden at the age of 12. In Sweden, he began dancing and training at the Ballet Academy of Stockholm, starting later than most before embarking on his journey across Europe. While working on cruise ships, he met his wife Christina, then went on to perform in Germany, the U.K., and throughout Scandinavia in shows like Saturday Night Fever, Miami Nights, and Fame: The Musical. Beyond theater, Dani developed a passion for screen work, appearing as an actor and performer (dancer, creature, model) in various film, TV shows, and commercials. He enjoys the transformation process, spending hours in makeup to become a vampire or monster unrecognizable from himself. Some of his notable screen credits include Designated Survivor, American Gods, Nikita, The Boys, The Strain, Traitor, and Once Upon a Mattress. He is also known as the Koodo guy, recognizable across Canada on billboards and newspapers sporting his distinctive 80's mustache.
His love for live theater remains strong, with roles such as Bernardo in West Side Story (across Canada); Monsoon Wedding in Berkeley, CA; Bend It Like Beckham the Musical in Toronto; and numerous productions for Drayton Entertainment including 9 to 5 the Musical, Spamalot, Rocky the Musical, Rock of Ages, Man of La Mancha, and Pirates of Penzance. He has also performed in several seasons of the Ross Petty Panto in Toronto, as well as Legally Blonde and Cabaret in Hamilton, and Un Ballo in Maschera with the Canadian Opera. Recently, he choreographed for the film The Art of Falling in Love on the Super Channel. Choreography has always been a key part of his creative expression. For the past 15 years, Dani and Christina have been involved in corporate events and functions across Toronto, both as performers and choreographers, covering a variety of dance styles.
Though he began his artistic career later than most, Dani has been fortunate to work around the globe in numerous theaters, collaborating with many choreographers, dancers, and performers across diverse genres. He firmly believes there are no shortcuts—success comes only through hard work.
