Ellie Ferguson is a Los Angeles-based actress, playwright, director, marathoner-in-training, and self-proclaimed pottery enthusiast. Born in Chicago but raised between Altadena, CA, and Dallas, TX, Ellie fell head-over-heels for theater as a kid and never really looked back. After earning her BFA in Acting for the Stage and Screen from Azusa Pacific University in 2022, she's been building a resume that spans Shakespeare to indie films. On stage, Ellie has tackled beloved roles in Little Women, The Winter's Tale, and The Diary of Anne Frank, as well as a staged reading of God of Carnage. Behind the scenes, she's directed plays with Playground Renaissance Theater Company, including Much Ado About Nothing, Barefoot in the Park, and the world premiere of The Chirp of a Dove, the Cry of a Grouse. Her training has included time spent at the British American Drama Academy, Oxford University, Upright Citizens Brigade, Moving Arts Theater, Berg Studios, and Shari Shaw Studios. On camera, Ellie shines in projects like Wait for It, The Lost Sheep, and Behind the Scenes. People often compare her to Linda Cardellini and Cristin Milioti-quirky, heartfelt, and endlessly watchable. When she's not acting or directing, Ellie is likely running laps, at the ice rink, throwing clay on the pottery wheel, or perfecting her harp skills (because why not?). She's living proof that you really can do it all-if you just ignore the laundry.
