Edward Carl Burrows, known as Carl Burrows, was born in Paterson, NJ. He is a versatile actor, producer, and occasional stuntman with extensive experience in film, television, live and recorded industrial and educational presentations, and voiceovers. His career includes over 300 principal roles in local, regional, and national commercials and infomercials. Nicknamed "Doc" by friends and colleagues, Carl is an alumnus of Montclair State University (NJ) and co-founder/director of the wild west troupe Spirits of the Old West. He is also a member of SAG-AFTRA, AEA, the Passaic County Film Commission, Bergen County Players Inc., and the Passaic County Historical Society. A "jack of all trades, master of at least a few," Carl is a handyman, outdoorsman, athlete, and former teacher, counselor, and plumber. His off-camera skills include location management, on/off set coordination, quick thinking, problem solving, people management, and diplomacy. Throughout his career, Carl has volunteered his time and talents both on and off camera for organizations such as the Partnership For a Drug-Free America, Muscular Dystrophy Association, Several Sources Foundation, March of Dimes, Tomorrow's Children Fund, Good Samaritan Hospital, Railmen For Children, and New Jersey Network (PBS).
