Actress, singer, and musician Emmy Liu-Wang is best known for her upcoming major role as ‘Pepper’ in "Hollywood Arts," the anticipated spin-off of the Nickelodeon hit show, "Victorious," as well as her role as ‘Ivy,’ a series regular in Seasons 5 and 6 of Disney Channel’s hit comedy series "Raven’s Home." She also stars as ‘Paige’ in Disney Branded Television’s original movie "The Slumber Party," streaming on Disney+. Born in Queens, New York, into a musical family, Emmy began playing cello at age five and piano at six, later discovering her passion for singing and musical theater. She launched her professional career at age ten, appearing in projects including HBO’s "Last Week Tonight with John Oliver" and the Broadway Center Stage production of "The Music Man" at The Kennedy Center alongside Rosie O’Donnell, Jessie Mueller, and Norm Lewis. Following the Broadway shutdown during COVID-19, Emmy shifted her focus toward television and film, leading to her breakout roles. In 2023, she attended the White House celebration for AANHPI Heritage Month, where former President Biden delivered opening remarks. Beyond endeavors in the arts, Emmy is dedicated to community service through her mentorship work with Saving Our Daughters, helping inspire young girls from multicultural backgrounds.
