Mark Stolzenberg is a versatile talent. Beyond his achievements as an actor, screenwriter, film producer, director, playwright, author, and physical comedian, he serves as an Associate Professor in the Drama Department at The New School University and is the Founding Director of The New York Acting School For Film and Television. His acting credits include principal roles on popular TV shows such as "Bull" (CBS) and "Boardwalk Empire" (HBO). He has also appeared on programs like The David Letterman Show (CBS), "Upfront" (TBS), "The Robert Klein Show" (USA Network), "Dellaventura" (CBS), "Best Year Ever" (VH1), "All My Children" (ABC), and The Maury Povich Show (FOX), along with over 30 SAG TV commercials. In feature films, his work includes the A24 production "If I Had Legs I’d Kick You," "Her Alibi," "City Hall," "The Fisher King," and "Two of a Kind." He starred in "Luggage of the Gods," written and directed by David Kendall, creator and director of the ABC sitcom "Growing Pains." Beginning his career as a clown with the Ringling Brothers Circus, Stolzenberg eventually moved to New York City to pursue stand-up comedy and hone his acting through numerous film and theater projects. As a writer, he has had three screenplays optioned, with one reaching the finals at the Sundance Institute's Screenwriters Lab. He authored three theatre books published by Sterling Publishing Co., Inc. in New York. Stolzenberg has written and directed over 30 short films, earning accolades including 'Best NJ Short Drama' at The Brightside Tavern Short Film Festival and 'Best Director' at the Long Island International Film Festival. His work has also been recognized at festivals such as the Fort Myers Beach Film Festival, Columbus International Film Festival, Houston Film Festival, Lincoln Center's Dance on Film Festival, and The New York International Festival for Film and TV, where he won Best Short Comedy. He regularly hosts screenings of his films and serves as the Executive Producer of Circle of Life Films, LLC, a New York-based film production company and new film streaming channel.
