Marco Cabriolu is an Italian writer, director, producer, born in Iglesias, Sardinia. With over 25 years of experience in film, television, advertising, and music, he has worked internationally across Italy, United States, Spain, United Kingdom, Russia, China, and former Yugoslavia.
He continued his formation in music, studying at the Collective School of Music in New York, before transitioning into film production. In 2001, he founded Mediterranea Casting Management, a production and advertising services company, where he contributed to more than 50 national and international commercials in roles including casting director, location manager, production manager, writer, director, and producer.
Marco has collaborated on a wide range of commercial productions and films, including projects like "5x2" directed by François Ozon; "Swept Away" directed by Guy Ritchie; "Ancient Warriors" directed by Walter von Huene; "Fighter" directed by Siddharth Anand; and "Kalki 2898 AD" directed by Nag Ashwin.
He made his feature directorial debut with the drama-thriller Mosaic, set in New York and starring Daniel Baldwin. He has also written, directed, and produced short films, feature films, documentaries, branded content, and music videos for several international artists. In addition, for many years he has written lyrics for various international artists and music band projects.
A former executive producer at Filmstar and director at Filmstar Entertainment Group, Cabriolu later founded Big Enough Productions, an independent production company focused on original film, television, music, and entertainment projects.
