Tatiana García is a Creative Producer with a distinguished career spanning 22 years, encompassing a broad range of competencies, including film production, musicalization, and writing. Raised between Mexico City and New York, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Communication, a Diploma in Film and Gender Studies, a Professional Certificate in Film Producing from New York University, and a Master of Fine Arts in Media Production/Film Production from City College of New York.
Tatiana’s professional journey started as a freelance associate producer at MTV (Latin America) before transitioning to independent film projects in Mexico City. In 2007, she relocated to New York, her second home. In New York, her career advanced significantly; she served as a screener for the Tribeca Film Festival, held the position of Associate Director at Cinema Tropical, and ultimately became the Coordinator of the Producing Program at the New York Film Academy.
Her portfolio encompasses the production of documentaries, feature films, television shows, music videos, docu-series, and digital content. She has collaborated with prestigious organizations such as Jingletown, NGL, PBS, BNS, NBC, Sesame Workshop, Netflix, HBO, among others.
Tatiana is renowned for her innovative methodologies, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to deliver compelling narratives. She has played a crucial role in bridging creative production efforts between Mexico City and the United States, establishing herself as an a link in both local and international productions. In addition to her film work, she hosts a radio program for Convoy Network called Negritud, which is dedicated to exploring the history and pride of Afro-descendants worldwide through music.
