Ms. Herman has overseen the production of numerous critically acclaimed television series, pilots, and films. She has worked alongside executive producers including J.J. Abrams, David E. Kelley, Jeff Rake, John Wells, Greg Berlanti, Aaron Sorkin, and Martin Gero. Her professional roles include Senior Executive in Production at Warner Brothers Television, Production Executive at Disney Pictures and Paramount Films, and Head of Production & Post at Savoy Pictures.
She earned both her BA and MA in Communication Arts and Journalism from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Beyond her distinguished career as a production executive and producer, Ms. Herman also had an active journalism career in New York, contributing to PBS' News Division, TNT documentaries, and "Frontline." Outside of her professional life, she is an animal rights advocate with a strong focus on dog rescue, and she actively participates in political and charitable causes she cares deeply about. In her leisure time, Ms. Herman enjoys golf and tennis, playing jazz and blues piano, and traveling, having lived in Europe, India, Nepal, Israel, and Egypt.
