Queca Gordillo is a Spanish actress, writer and producer working across the United States, Spain and Latin America. Her recent screen credits include the Netflix limited series Aquel, Telemundo's Velvet: El Nuevo Imperio and La Mujer de mi Vida, the feature films Por la Vida and Nemesis, and the award-winning short film Panther G, which received the Audience Award at the Miami Short Film Festival.
Equally established on stage, Queca has appeared in more than fifteen theatrical productions, including Spanglish Robin Hood, La Isla Bonita, Las Cenizas de Mamá, El Asesino Silencioso, or Locas. She also co-produced and starred in the international stage production La Que Se Va a Armar, which has been presented in Miami, New York, Madrid and Mexico City.
Beyond acting, Queca develops original film and theater projects through Primer Acto Florida Foundation (PAFF), the nonprofit arts organization she co-founded to promote Spanish-language performing arts and cultural exchange in the United States. Under her leadership, PAFF has produced dozens of professional productions and educational initiatives supported by organizations including the Florida Department of State, Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs, and other public and private institutions.
Her work spans drama, comedy and psychologically complex characters in both English and Spanish. She is also an experienced producer and writer, with projects focused on social impact.
Born in Spain, Queca trained in acting in Madrid, Miami and Toronto. She also studied classical ballet, Spanish dance, piano, harmony and music theory and she is a member of the Academia de las Artes Escénicas de España.
She holds a degree in Economics from the Autonomous University of Madrid and Sunderland University in the UK, and a Master's in Marketing from NYU (New York University). For years, she worked in the corporate world, combining her life in multinational companies with her passion for the arts, which runs in her family due to her parents' profession. She is married and the proud mother of three sons.
