Roguan is known for directing true-to-life characters and actors. He has built a solid career as actor director, diversifying his perspectives of the process used in constructing his characters. He worked alongside Fatima Toledo for four years during which time he prepared the entire cast for the film "Elite Squad 1", including Wagner Moura, Maria Ribeiro, Milhem Cortaz and Fabio Lago. "A truly transforming experience, giving me all the tools to work with both actors and non-actors, delving into deep emotions, in real time, and the truth in the scene", says the director. His latest work is the show for YOUTUBE ORIGINALS, KondZilla and MyMama Entertainment "The Beat Diaspora", released in 2022, shot in Brazil, England, Jamaica, Porto Rico, and Africa. The director wrote, produced and directed documentary films for three music festivals, two authorial documentaries and two branded content documentaries. Besides the documentary's he wrote and directed theater plays and a fiction film. Roguan also worked with the Production Company Zohar Cinema, where he created and realized jobs for Jack Daniels as well as major brand names such as Nissan, Estrella Galicia, Skyy Vodca, Natura, among others, something that imbued his work with a hefty aesthetics diversity. Roguan is known for writing and constructing his films and processes in an artistic and experimental manner. Among his authorial projects we can mention the film Sete Grilos/Dois Cachorros, selected to appear in international film festivals such as Potenza Film Festival (Italy) and Zebra Poetry Film Festival (Germany); and Destino Cidade Ademar, winner of the One Minute Film Festival.
