Dan was raised just outside Manchester before relocating to London to study at The Arts Educational Schools, where he earned a First Class BA Honours degree in Acting.
Over the past ten years, Dan has maintained a steady career across the creative industries. His visual performances cover theatre, television, and film, while his voice work includes radio, commercials, audio dramas, and TV commentary.
Dan’s theatre credits include Gareth Farr's 'Britannia Waves The Rules' at The Royal Exchange Manchester, which earned him a Best Actor nomination at The Manchester Theatre Awards; Jim Cartwright's 'Road' at The Royal Court, directed by John Tiffany; Lyndsey Turner’s 'Hamlet' at The Barbican, performing alongside Benedict Cumberbatch; and notably, he portrayed Romeo in Amy Leach's 'Romeo and Juliet' at West Yorkshire Playhouse, garnering five-star reviews.
On screen, he has appeared in BBC dramas such as The Village, The Musketeers, Silent Witness, and The Crimson Field, where he acted opposite Suranne Jones. He also starred as Teddy Smith in the British independent films The Rise of The Krays and The Fall of The Krays.
Dan’s voice is featured in TV and radio campaigns, including advertising for Tesco Club Card Plus, accompanied by Cilla Black. Recently, he collaborated with Manchester United and Tezos to announce their partnership in a social media campaign alongside Cristiano Ronaldo. His voice work also extends to projects with The FA, Visit Britain, Tesco Pet Insurance, CAT Construction, AMEX, and the BBC. Additionally, he provides commentary for Channel 5 series such as 'It's Your Fault I'm Fat' and 'Great British Rivers: Then & Now'.
