At 21, armed with only 50 euros, Louis-Karim Nébati hitchhiked from the small town of Arras, France, to Paris to pursue his childhood dream of becoming an actor. To pay for acting classes, he took on various small jobs and gradually developed an interest in writing. By 24, he had founded his own poetry literary revue. At 25, he began studying Physics, Psychology, and the Topology of language, becoming a student of the renowned psychoanalyst Jean-François Chabaud. Despite his passion for science and psychology, Louis-Karim supported himself in Paris as a musician and writer while continuing his acting training at the Cours Florent and participating in workshops where he learned the Method.
After four years in Paris, he was hired by the National Theater, the Comédie Française, where he performed Molière roles for two years. His major breakthrough came a few years later when he starred as Doctor Fabien Cosma in the prime-time French TV series "Fabien Cosma" from 2001 to 2007. In early 2003, he decided to pursue another dream alongside acting: flying. By 2006, he became a professional pilot, enabling him to travel worldwide. In his free time, he indulged in aviation, physics, and riding his beloved Harley Davidson across Europe, enjoying life after years of hardship and loss.
The TV series reached number one in 2005, drawing 7 million viewers during a prime-time broadcast. Louis-Karim instantly became a French television sensation. The show's phenomenal success helped him find a sense of family after years in an orphanage following the death of his adoptive parents when he was 12. Since then, living positively and sharing his passions with those around him have been his foremost goals.
Since 2012, Louis-Karim has been living his dream in the United States, more connected to reality than ever. His love for art, especially theater and film, brought him to Los Angeles, where he chose to reinvent himself. Today, he appears in various U.S. projects, including a recent role as Cobio in the new TV series "American Dream," alongside Michael Madsen. Moving to the U.S. marked a rebirth for Louis-Karim, both as an actor and as a man. Continually honing his craft and drawing inspiration, he moves closer to sharing his talents with a broader audience.
