Alexandra Jensen is a DGA Associate Director, Stage Manager, and Production Associate on the long-running daytime drama The Young and the Restless (1973).
Alexandra is also a Director, Writer, Editor, Storyboard Artist and Voice Over Artist. Originally from Oshkosh, Wisconsin, Alexandra moved to Los Angeles in 2010 to pursue a career in filmmaking. She graduated from University of Southern California's prestigious Film & Television Production program in 2012, earning her MFA degree with an emphasis on Directing. She also has a bachelor's degree in Film & Media Studies from Washington University in St. Louis, from which she graduated in 2009.
After earning her MFA, Alexandra began work as a Producer and Post Production Supervisor for Santa Monica-based company Lunacy Productions. Lunacy has found success with their thriller Rust Creek (2018) (2018), on which Alexandra was Executive Producer, Storyboard Artist, Post Production Supervisor, Voice Artist, and Motion Graphic Designer.
She also helms her own company, Hidden Key Media, geared toward producing and/or editing short form content. Alexandra is also a freelance storyboard artist and illustrator. She has done storyboards for Bryan Singer and Felicia Day's "Spooked", an Emmy Award-Winning PSA for the "Help A Soldier Heal" Foundation, and more. She has also worked her storyboarding magic on spec for Stan Lee and Phil X & The Drills.
Her other interests include traveling, cooking, dodgeball, wine, skiing, Pokémon, classic rock, pottery throwing, and Dinosaurs.
