Stevel Marc is the eldest of two children born to Jasmine Williams and Carlton McDonald. He was raised in Portland, Jamaica, where he attended Titchfield High School. His professional modeling career began when Dwight Peters of Saint International Modelling Agency discovered him, just before he was crowned Mr. Titchfield 2000. This milestone opened doors to numerous international modeling contracts, taking him to London, New York, Asia, South Africa, and various parts of Europe.
Using South Africa as his base, he signed with the globally recognized Ice Model Management and Artist Connection for theatrical and commercial work. There, he honed his skills through appearances in television and film commercials for brands such as Revlon (featuring Halle Berry and Eva Mendes), BlackBerry, Coca-Cola, KFC, Nescafé, Momentum, Standard Bank, Nashua Mobile, South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC), and DSTV. Additionally, Stevel Marc has worked as a voice-over artist for clients including Samsung Mobile, Budweiser, Malibu Caribbean Rum, Toyota, Highveld Stereo, Pigg's Peak Casino, Foundry Premium Cider, Spar, Pick 'n Pay, Standard Bank, student radio, Exclusive Books, and the South African Tourism Board.
He has also served as an emcee for major events and brands like MasterCard, Heineken, Fashion Television International (FTV), De Beers, Standard Bank, MTN Go Rig (FIFA Confederations Cup), FIFA World Cup (Fan Fest and 22 World Cup games), Sony (World Cup Winners Trophy Tour), Calvin Klein, BlackBerry, Sansui Summer Cup, SAICA (South African Institute of Chartered Accountants), and Cricket South Africa.
In his early twenties, Stevel began auditioning for film roles in South Africa while developing his craft at the Johannesburg Civic Theatre. In 2008, he enrolled at the New York Film Academy (NYFA) and TVI Actors Studio in Los Angeles, California, where he completed his film studies successfully.
His feature film debut was in the internationally acclaimed, 13-award-winning film Of Good Report. He has since appeared in notable films such as The Challenger Disaster (2013) alongside Oscar winner William Hurt, OutPost 37 (2014), Dear Betty (2014), My Zulu Promise (2013), Donor (2014), The King's Rook (2014), The Triangle (2005), Anything for Wifey (2014), Trinity (2014), Hometown (2014), and Adaption (2014).
