If you were to google Mark’s name, it would show a picture of him on, Dick Clark’s American Bandstand. He was a dance contestant. And even though he and his partner did not win, they later competed in the hit competition show, Dance Fever, and won second place. Mark performed as a dancer at Disneyland in Anaheim which led to him working with the creating team as a choreographer helping bring the hit animation film, The Lion King, to life at the park. Throughout his career, Mark has had the privilege of working in Guest-star and Supporting roles in several Motion Pictures and Television shows such as, Basic Instinct, The Unknown Cyclist, The Pauly Shore Show, Cold Case, the hit comedy, Those Who Can’t and the hit soap opera, The Bold and the Beautiful.
Mark has danced in various music videos with recording artists, Lisa Stansfield, Paula Abdul, En Vogue and Sting. Mark is happy to say that I can add my name to the Hall of Fame as one of the few black actors that has booked the role of the purple grape for Fruit of The Loom. In fact, I was hand-picked by investor himself, Warren Buffett. No stranger to the musical theater world, cast in the role of Jacob in La Cage Aux Folles winning him a Robbie Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Musical. But it was my move to Switzerland that became his greatest journey in musical theater playing the role of Annas in the rock opera, Jesus Christ Superstar, Hairspray, and the role of Daddy Brubeck in the production of Sweet Charity. Upon my return back Los Angeles, Mark auditioned and cast in the musical The Full Monty and the Christmas musical Miracle on 34th Street at The Eldorado Theater in Reno, NV for Plan-B Entertainment.
