Nicole Bonifacio was born in the East Bay Area, California, to Araceli Bonifacio (Mendoza) and Noel Bonifacio, both originally from Pampanga, Philippines. Of Filipino heritage, she grew up with two brothers, Collen and Nealen.
From a young age, Bonifacio had a passion for music, performing as a singer at school talent shows, open mics, and showcases throughout the Bay Area. In high school, she participated in a cappella groups, sang in her church youth choir, and served as co-president of her school's chamber choir.
As she approached college, Bonifacio shifted her focus to modeling after taking a runway course at City College of San Francisco taught by Arcadia Maximo and Charleston Pierce. This marked the beginning of her dedication to modeling. After graduating from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in San Francisco and spending two years developing her portfolio, Bonifacio collaborated with several Project Runway designers, America's Next Top Model alumni, and was featured in Harper's Bazaar UK (July 2015 issue), New York Fashion Week (2015-2017), Yeezy Season 3, Nylon.com, Essence, Elite Daily, among others.
Simultaneously, Bonifacio explored acting by enrolling in classes with the Undiscovered Talent Group, where she performed at the IPOP Showcase and Convention in Los Angeles. It was there she was discovered and signed by Model Management Group.
Soon after, Bonifacio relocated to New York to pursue acting full-time. Within two weeks of moving, she became SAG-Eligible and joined SAG-AFTRA. Her acting credits include roles in films and television series such as Power Book III: Raising Kanan, Katy Keene, The Con is On, and others.
Currently, Bonifacio has appeared in numerous commercials, including campaigns for Verizon, Bring Change 2 Mind, ChiroDoc Network, ADP, Mastercard, Emergen-C, and more.
She now resides in New York City.
