Natalie Åsgård-Rasmussen is a professional dancer from Trondheim, Norway, now based in the UK. She is a versatile artist recognized for her technical proficiency in dance and fitness, and her instrumental background as a flutist. Before moving to the UK, Natalie completed her secondary dance education at Cissi Klein College (Videregående Skole) in Trondheim (2020-2023), establishing a strong foundation in contemporary, jazz and classical techniques. After graduating from Cissi Klein, she moved to Liverpool in the UK in September 2023 to take a Bachelor's Honours Degree in Dance at The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA), a world-renowned institution for performing arts training that is co-founded by Beatles singer Sir Paul McCartney.
In addition to dancing, Natalie also has a lot of experience in acting and music. Natalie has been included in smaller theatre productions since the age of 6 years old and she has been a classically trained flutist since the age of 9, frequently integrating her musical knowledge into her rhythmic and choreographic work. As a flutist she has performed both in solo, chamber, and band settings, and in 2018 she also got to perform live on stage together with Luftforsvarets musikkorps (The Norwegian Air Forces` band) at their New Years Concert.
Natalie`s first acting credit goes all the way back to 2010 where she played the role of young Thora in Korsvikaspelet Håkon & Kark, working with huge Norwegian creatives such as Idar Lind, Frode Fjellheim, and Nora Evensen. Her portfolio keeps growing and she has now developed a diverse portfolio across stage, screen and fitness with loads of professional performance credits, including 'Bound' (2025) by Vivian Webb where she portrayed the character Erelith and 'The Seventh Circle' (2025) by Julie C. Odden where she is credited as Dancer and Tango Dancer number 1.
As a dancer Natalie also appeared in Tides of Change (2024) by Emilie Åsgård Choreography, and she performed alongside Emilie Victoria Åsgård-Rasmussen and Rhea Chabria in the LIPA Blackball Showcase (2023) in a choreography made by Emilie Åsgård Choreography for this celebration of black history and art. In addition to this, she has also performed in the 2025 show ‘A Heart of Fire’ by Emma Annetts & Kristine Berget, danced for UDO British Dance Festival in a choreography by Tia Gribben, and danced at the Cunard Cruise Queen Anne naming ceremony with Harrison McEldowney. Other professional credits includes dancer in Strike a Pose Fashionshow (2025), The Life of The Party (2025) by Simon Hardwick, dancer at the National Diversity Awards (2025), and dancer at Evcaptial opening ceremony (2023).
In her hometown Trondheim, Natalie works as a group fitness instructor at 3T-Treningssenter specializing in high-energy classes in amongst others Zumba, Step, Aerobic, Strength training, HiiT, Pulse, and Dance Move, as well as offering classes in Yoga, Family Classes and Baby Classes.
Before moving to the UK, Natalie also worked as a Baton Twirling instructor from January 2022 - June 2023 for kids aged 6 - 16 years old. She taught both private one-one lessons and group lessons for the kids, as well as mentoring the students for regional Baton Twirling competitions in Norway.
Natalie frequently collaborates with her sister Emilie Victoria Åsgård-Rasmussen, and she is a part of Emilie Åsgård Choreography as one of the dancers. Both sisters have associations with local Trondheim dance studios such as Let’s Dance Dansestudio founded by Berit Fløisand Moen, where they trained in a huge variety of dance styles from a young age and up until they graduated from college and moved to the UK.
