Judah Bellamy, born and raised in Baltimore, MD, is insightful and outgoing, with a clear focus and passion for the arts. From an early age, he knew exactly the path he wanted to follow, practically born with a vision.
At just five years old, Judah decided he wanted to be an actor, specifically dreaming of playing Young Simba in The Lion King on Broadway. After six years, an audition, and five callbacks, he realized that dream in early 2011 and moved to New York City. Nearly two years performing in The Lion King provided him with invaluable training, many friendships, deeper professional insight, and support from his management and agency teams at Lil Angels and Innovative Artists. During this time, he also booked numerous national commercials and starred in the indie film Home as John Hall, the son of Jack Hall (played by Gbenga Akinnagbe), a man striving to reconnect with his son and reclaim his home. On the set of Home, directed by Jono Oliver, Judah discovered his passion for filmmaking, which he eagerly began studying and which would significantly influence his future.
In December 2012, immediately after his transformative experience with The Lion King, Judah joined the original Broadway cast of Matilda, playing the lead role of Tommy. Over two years, he gained valuable experiences and friendships, and he became determined to focus more specifically on film and television.
After concluding his Broadway run in 2014, Judah was cast as Jake in the Amazon original series Just Add Magic, one of the platform's most popular children’s shows that also captivates adult audiences. Over three seasons, he acquired hands-on experience in network television, filming, and editing. Now living in Los Angeles, Judah is attending college for filmmaking, pursuing new challenges in his acting career, and engaging passionately in conversations about film, jazz, and hip hop.
