Noel Vega has been active in the entertainment industry since 1989, mainly as a Producer and Stunt Action Director for video games, television, and independent films. The video games he has contributed to have generated over $20 billion in sales and include titles such as NC Soft's Lineage, numerous Call of Duty installments, all UFC games (THQ), and popular franchises like Spiderman, Ultimate Avengers, James Bond, Tony Hawk, Guitar Hero, True Crime, Clone Wars, and many others. His clients include major companies like Namco-Bandai, Microsoft, Activision, Treyarch, Infinity Ward, NC Soft, EA, SEGA, THQ, among many more.
Noel produced the feature film The Citizen, which was recognized as a Top 10 movie of 2013 by Examiner and named Best Movie of the American Film Market (AFM) 2012 by Daily Variety. The Sundance Audience Award winner A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night was voted "Best Movie on Netflix 2015" by Yahoo and "Coolest Movie on Netflix of 2015" by Business Insider. Beyond U.S. films, he has worked on projects for international companies such as Wanda Pictures, Emperor Motion Pictures, Fox International Japan, Disney India, Discovery Channel, and Eros International.
He has collaborated with Academy Award-winning directors including Oliver Stone and Kathryn Bigelow; renowned Chinese filmmakers Tsui Hark and Sammo Hung; India's SV Krishna Reddy; and Academy Award-winning actors like Faye Dunaway and Sir Ben Kingsley. His work also includes collaborations with global stars such as Egypt’s Khaled Nabawy, China’s Jet Li, Hong Kong’s Jackie Chan, the UK’s Anthony Hopkins, Germany’s Udo Kier, and India’s Saif Ali Khan. Noel enjoys working on foreign productions, valuing the rich learning experience, and has partnered extensively with international producers and production companies. He possesses substantial experience filming in rebate-eligible states and countries.
Noel's company, AMG Films, is an officially registered China co-production entity that completed the U.S. and China filming of 46 episodes of For Honor (Chinese title: Sunset River), all filmed in 8K resolution, with executive producers Han Sanping and Zhao Jun. His credits include working on the #1 reality TV show Deadliest Warrior and the #1 scripted network TV series Martial Law. Recently, he completed action choreography for Warner Bros. Independent's American Fighter and Wheels of Fortune, directed by Shaun Piccinino.
His broad entertainment background also features action choreography for the Harry Potter Ride demo at Universal Studios (2003), assisting the Shanghai Film Bureau and Shanghai International Film Festival (including the opening of the 1995 Cannes Film Festival with director Zhang Yimou’s Shanghai Triad), managing Edward James Olmos' Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival (1998 & 1999), co-founding the Los Angeles Feel Good Film Festival (2007), and directing various multi-camera live concerts for China Central Television (CCTV) over several years.
Noel is a New York University alumnus and a member of the Directors Guild of America, SAG/AFTRA, and the Producers Guild of America. He is fluent in English, Spanish, and Filipino, and has conversational skills in Portuguese, Italian, French, Japanese, and Mandarin. Whenever possible, he mentors others in the industry.
