Graduated in Humanities with a specialization in audiovisual communication from the University of Navarra, he relocated to Madrid in 1999 to earn an outstanding diploma in film directing and television production at the Tai University School of Arts.
He directed the feature film The Coolest Hair, which premiered at the Sitges International Festival and is an adaptation of the play by the seXpeare theater group. He has also directed a dozen short films, including award-winning titles like El síndrome del Ártico and Salva el mundo!!, produced commercials, and worked on the Antena 3 series Ell@s.
Starting his career in cinema as an assistant director, he later took on roles as a script supervisor and first assistant director in films such as Vida y color by Santiago Tabernero, Our Lovers by Miguel Ángel Lamata, and Kingdom of Heaven by Ridley Scott, among others.
He is a producer of music videos for artists including Ara Malikian, Raphael, and Loquillo, receiving a nomination for Best Long Video at the Latin Grammy Awards in 2016.
In television, he has contributed to various RTVE programs as a scriptwriter, producer, and assistant director, including Carta blanca, DVD Extras, La nube, Revista de cine, and the 2022 San Sebastián Festival Galas.
As of 2022, he has co-written the series Las voces perdidas about Federico García Lorca with Carlos Saura and is developing several projects such as Los parafílicos, Breve (with Gerardo Herrero of Tornasol Media), Cr1pt0, and El enigma Gardel (with Franciscus Productions). He is also working on multiple feature film scripts, including an adaptation of Jaime Arracó Montoliu’s novel A Perfect Person, published by Seix Barral.
