Péter Geszti is a Hungarian producer, lyricist, creative producer, television personality and activist whose work has had a lasting impact on Hungary's contemporary popular culture. Over a career spanning more than three decades, he has successfully combined music, film, television, theatre and brand storytelling, becoming one of the country's most recognizable creative figures.
He first gained national recognition as the co-founder, lyricist and performer of the groundbreaking pop-rap group Rapülők, followed by the critically acclaimed Jazz+Az. Throughout his career, he has written hundreds of song lyrics for many of Hungary's leading recording artists while continuously creating new musical projects under his own name.
Beyond popular music, Geszti has become one of Hungary's most influential theatre writers. His collaborations with composer László Dés include *The Jungle Book* and *The Paul Street Boys*, two of the most successful and enduring musicals in Hungarian theatre. Their songs have become part of Hungary's contemporary cultural repertoire and continue to reach new generations of audiences.
Alongside his artistic career, Geszti played a pioneering role in Hungary's advertising industry, creating award-winning campaigns for leading national and international brands. His work later expanded into television as a host, mentor, format creator and creative executive, while he also became a sought-after keynote speaker on creativity, communication and innovation.
In 2017, together with producer Ditz Edit, he co-founded GRUND Productions, an independent production company focused on premium scripted films, television series, documentaries and large-scale cultural productions. As a producer, his credits include the feature films *Happy New Year* (2018), *Liquid Gold* (2019), *Hello, My Life!* (2022), and the television series *Bróker Marcsi* (2025). He also develops and produces large-scale live entertainment, concert productions and original intellectual property for international audiences.
Today Geszti's work is increasingly centered on original storytelling as both a creator and producer. Combining artistic vision with commercial sensibility, he continues to develop projects across film, television, music and live entertainment while collaborating with many of Hungary's leading writers, directors and performers.
His contribution to Hungarian culture has been recognized with numerous professional awards, including the Artisjus Lifetime Achievement Award, honoring his exceptional contribution to Hungarian music and the creative industries.
