Xan Parker is a creative documentary producer with over 20 years of experience shaping culturally resonant stories for major broadcast, streaming, and brand platforms. Her work has premiered at top festivals including Sundance, Tribeca, and Telluride, and been released on platforms like HBO, PBS, CNN, ABC, and National Geographic. Her latest film, The New Yorker at 100, directed by Marshall Curry, will debut on Netflix in December 2025. On both independent and commissioned projects, Xan has been the trusted collaborator of some of the most visionary directors in the field. She was creative producer of Ron Howard's Emmy-nominated Rebuilding Paradise (Sundance, National Geographic), praised by Roger Ebert as "the most impressive piece of storytelling Howard has ever been associated with." Other notable credits include After the Bite (HBO), The Big Payback (Tribeca, PBS), Tigerland (Sundance, Discovery Channel), and the series Mind/Trip (Roku) and The Hill (Sundance Channel). Xan's career extends to film heritage, museum exhibits, and branded storytelling. She established a production division of a New York based branding firm, where one of her shorts raised over $100 million for cancer research. She also orchestrated the 16-screen installation You Are Here (on view at the Museum of the City of New York) and led a collaboration between Maysles Films and Criterion Collection to revive classics for new viewers. Xan is an active member of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences, the Television Academy, the Documentary Producers Alliance, and NationSwell Council.
