Monika Spruch was raised in Łódź, Poland’s second-largest city near Warsaw, renowned for fashion, cinema, and its prestigious Film School, which counts filmmakers Roman Polanski and Krzysztof Zanussi among its notable alumni.
As Poland’s fashion hub, Łódź hosted events like "Interfashion" (also known as "Week of Fashion"), where Monika began her runway career as a fashion model.
In 1999, Monika earned the "Model of the Year" award in Poland along with the "Mademoiselle Mannequin" Elite Club Award, which she won again in 2000. She also received the Miss Photo award in the regional Miss Polonia competition, recognized for her photogenic qualities.
She appeared in "The Story of Master Twardowski," directed by popular filmmaker Krzysztof Gradowski. Her theatrical experience includes pantomime work with renowned Jerzy Moniak, portraying Mary Magdalene in "Spektakl," a play about Jesus Christ. She also nurtured a love for dance at the Odoriko Form & Dance Academy in Łódź.
Monika’s early enthusiasm for film, fashion, and modeling shaped her career path. Discovered by Look Model Management, she was cast in numerous shows and projects, gaining valuable industry experience.
Relocating to Los Angeles, Monika walked the runway for designers such as DKNY, David Cordona, David Rodriguez, Estevan Ramos, Daniel Cantu & Castillo, Elizabetha Rogiani, Eva Varro, Ulrike Couture, Marvyn’s, and appeared in print campaigns for Lingerie Bowl, Rider Jeans, M. Millien underwear for Fred Segal, Bio Ionic hair care, San Diego Style Weddings, Electric Barbarella, Monte Carlo Leather, Oro King Jewelry, and Malibu Beach beverage.
She secured a role on the popular TV series "Star Trek Enterprise" (Paramount Studios). After two years on the show, she received multiple modeling contract offers from prominent UK agencies.
Monika moved to London, working with Target Models International, Models Plus, and other agencies. She modeled on runways and appeared in magazines and television across Europe and the U.S. After two years in England, she returned to the U.S. to attend the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) in Los Angeles, graduating in 2008 with an Associate of Arts degree, majoring in Beauty Industry Merchandising & Marketing.
To further her skills, Monika trained at the Ivana Chubbuck Studio and TVI Actors Studio. She studied acting under Oscar-nominated actress Sally Kirkland and honed her voice with notable coach Gary Catona, known for working with Whitney Houston, Babyface, Shakira, Seal, Lenny Kravitz, Andrea Bocelli, and others.
Guided by her values, she founded the Monika Spruch Foundation, a nonprofit aimed at supporting those in need, particularly abused children and their mothers.
Monika has appeared in numerous films, commercials, and TV shows, including "Star Trek Enterprise," "The Green Hornet," "Red Riding Hood," "Fright Night," "Confessions of a Dangerous Mind," "Will & Grace," "Dexter," "CSI: Miami," "Monk," "Miss Match," "Heart of Stone," among others.
In late 2010, Monika recorded several hit songs and began producing her first music video, "Radio," overseeing all aspects of production and post-production. The video features advanced filming techniques such as 3D and multi-camera 4K digital filming, green screen stages, virtual sets, and complex CGI, directed by promising European filmmaker Cyryl Koshyk.
Her passion for beauty led her to launch a distribution company for the renowned Polish natural skincare brand Produkty Naturalne S.C., under the name "Naturalis USA."
Monika secured the lead role in the captivating horror/thriller "Rottenbury Drive" (2014), produced, directed, and written by Cyryl Koshyk.
