Marc Dube hails from Holliston, Massachusetts. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications-Film from Emerson College in Boston in 1991. His initial role in Los Angeles was as an assistant to producers and directors at Paramount Pictures. While assisting TV Executive Producer Ann Donahue, the CSI franchise was launched with Jerry Bruckheimer and CBS in 2000. Freelance writing for CSI led to a full-time staff writer position on its spin-off, CSI: Miami, in 2002. By 2010, Marc had risen to Executive Producer of the series, a role he held until its conclusion in 2012. Since then, he has written for several prime-time procedural shows across various networks, including Chicago Fire (NBC), Castle (ABC), Mysteries of Laura (NBC), and Instinct (CBS), while also exploring science fiction with TV dramas Falling Skies (TNT) and Beyond (FreeForm).

- His one-act play, The Back Seat, was performed at The Road Theatre in North Hollywood in 2008.
- In 2010, he developed an Aircraft Carrier pilot in collaboration with the USS Navy Aircraft Carrier Carl Vinson, CBS, and director Jon Turteltaub.
Marc has worked on productions in Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago, Vancouver, and New York. His production company, Christopher Road Productions, Inc., is named after the street where he grew up in Holliston, MA.
