Samantha Lopez (born August 20, 2008) is a bilingual LatinX actress from South Florida. Homeschooled, Samantha is prepared to take direction from anywhere in the world. Her cheerful and energetic personality has led to on-camera work across the country since she was under one year old. Her commercial print campaigns include Party City, Dyanna Rosemary, Dannon, Toys "R" Us, and FPL. Samantha began acting classes in 2012 and continues her extensive training with acclaimed Oscar-winning coaches and Artios Award-winning casting directors such as Harriet Greenspan, Lori Wyman, Adriana Barraza, Paul Becker, Luther Brown, Aisha Francis, and Mark Samuels.
In 2015, Samantha was crowned Little Miss Florida US Nation and has appeared in numerous Spanish-language series on NBC/Telemundo, including Mariposa de Barrio, Milagros de Navidad, Mi Familia Perfecta, Silvana Sin Lana, and Siempre Niños (with Don Francisco). In 2018, she earned an "Introducing" credit for her leading role in her debut film, Me 3.769 (directed by Elaine Del Valle), which received support from the Sundance Institute and Knight Foundation. The film premiered at the 2019 Miami Film Festival and was featured in the prestigious IMDb short film competition.
Other recent films currently in postproduction include Dream Killer (by Barbie Castro), Unboxed (by Eduardo Del Carmen), Thanks For Sharing (by Cine Vibes Productions), and Hurracan, a feature film by Cassius Corrigan. Passionate about filmmaking and having created viral videos, Samantha was named an Official YouTube Creator. She is also an Instagram influencer, boasting over 50,000 dedicated followers.
Samantha’s motto is, "I was born ready!" With boundless enthusiasm and a strong work ethic, she is devoted to pursuing a career in entertainment. Samantha looks forward to her upcoming stay in Los Angeles in 2019 as she embarks on her first pilot season.
