Jim Clemente is a retired FBI Supervisory Special Agent and profiler, as well as a former New York City prosecutor. Over his 22-year FBI career, he investigated a wide range of cases, from bank robberies to serial killings. His work also included probing public corruption at the White House, white-collar crimes, violent offenses, and undercover operations where he assumed roles from a street beggar to a Wall Street broker. For more than ten years, he specialized as an FBI profiler in violent and sexual serial crimes. Recognized internationally as an expert in sex crimes, child sexual victimization, and child abduction, Clemente now delivers lectures and keynote speeches worldwide. His topics cover sex offender typologies, "nice guy" acquaintance offenders, compliant victimization, grooming, rape typologies, deception detection, equivocal death investigations, crimes against children, and child abductions. He also provides consulting services for criminal and civil cases and serves as a television commentator for various news and entertainment programs. Clemente is a writer and co-producer for Criminal Minds and has worked as a technical advisor on Those Who Kill, Quantico, Blind Spot, Secrets & Lies, and Sleepy Hollow. He frequently appears as a host and guest on The Lip TV’s Crime Time YouTube channel. Additionally, he executive produces and appears on-air in documentary series such as Killer Profile on LMN, Missing Dial on NatGeo, and Finding Benjamin. Clemente authored his debut novel, Without Consent, which draws from his true experience collaborating with the FBI to apprehend a notorious sex offender.
