Sheira Rees-Davies is an Executive Producer and Producer of Entertainment. Hailing from London, Sheira moved to New York at the age of 18 to work in music management. For more than a decade, she managed and tour-managed various world-renowned artists, including Prince, Diana Ross, and Meatloaf, among others. Sheira later booked music and managed the New York Club and art gallery Woodies for Ron Wood, of the Rolling Stones. Moving into the realm of film and advertising, she founded the music division at Anonymous Content, serving as Executive Producer for ten years, and working with incredible directors, such as David Fincher, Mark Romanek, Jonathan Glazer, Jake Nava, Wong Kar Wai, Gore Verbinski, Joaquin Phoenix, Nick Wickham, Sanaa Hamri, and many more. Over the course of her career, she has worked with musical artists, including Coldplay, Jay-Z, Jack White, and Nine Inch Nails, among others, and won countless awards, including Beyonce's "Single Ladies", won 9 Music Video Awards, including the video of the year and Johnny Cash won a Grammy for the best music video and 7 MTV nominations. She has produced multiple concert documentary films for Beyoncé, as well as films for Eagles, Herbie Hancock, Quincy Jones, Shakira, The Doobie Brothers, Alicia Keys, The Black Eyed Peas, Pentatonix, Above & Beyond, and a 3D documentary for the Montreux Jazz Festival, as well as a tribute to Bob Marley and The Wailers that won a Clio. Sheira has produced multiple documentaries and specials for Apple Music, including Rap Life Live, a social justice film featuring Nas, Lil Baby, Wale, and Rapsody. Also, Apple Music documentaries for Kygo, P!nk, H.E.R., Christine and the Queens, 1975, Marc Anthony, Celine Dion, and Raphael Saadiq. In 2021, her film Buddy Guy: The Blues Chase The Blues Away premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. Romeo Santos: King of Bachata and Romeo Santos Utopia Live from MetLife Stadium, airing on HBO Max, and King of Bachata was nominated for a Latin Grammy. This documentary explores the history of Bachata and examines the Dominican diaspora through the lens of Romeo's record-breaking performance at MetLife Stadium. Sheira's most recent film on Hulu is Memes and Nightmares. Executive produced by LeBron James, it premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. It is a satirical documentary/mockumentary that dives into the chaotic world of NBA Twitter and memes that have transformed the NBA into a cultural phenomenon.
