Jesse Woodrow has enjoyed a highly successful career in Hollywood. He has modeled and served as a spokesperson for some of the world’s leading brands, including Skyy Vodka, Beefeater, L'Oreal, Coors Light, Guess, Apple, and Yves Saint Laurent. Renowned casting director Mali Finn (known for Avatar, Titanic, The Matrix) recognized his talent early and cast him in his first role opposite Reese Witherspoon, Josh Brolin, and Alessandro Nivola in the 20th Century Fox film Best Laid Plans. Aaron Spelling was impressed by Jesse’s performance in a Warner Brothers/Spelling pilot and asked Pamela Shae to cast him and write him into the WB TV series Charmed, where he is best known for playing Glen, Rose McGowan’s boyfriend, a recurring character for two years. He appeared in a L'Oreal Feria commercial alongside Beyonce, Jessica Alba, and Milla Jovovich, promoting men’s color products. One of his recent projects, The Unborn, which won an Edgar Short Story award for its screenplay by Serita Stevens before filming, was directed by Samuel Benavides and secured worldwide television distribution on the Sundance Channel, DirecTV, iTunes, and Amazon.com. The film also earned the prestigious Platinum Remi award. The indie horror film Something’s Wrong in Kansas, starring Jesse, is set for release this year. His leading role in the SAG-AFTRA feature film Tableau Vivant is scheduled for release on August 15, 2014. Additionally, Jesse stars in Blackbird alongside Danny Glover and Minnie Driver, produced by Ryan Kavanaugh (21, Limitless, The Fighter, Salt), Amar'e Stoudemire (New York Knicks), and Relativity Media (The Social Network, Oblivion, Savages, The Bourne Legacy), with direction by Gina Prince-Bythewood. Blackbird is slated for release on November 14, 2014.
