Angie Milliken, a graduate of Australia's National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA), has earned both critical and popular acclaim for her leading roles in film, television, and theatre. She has received seven nominations and won two Australian Film Institute 'Best Actress' awards for her portrayal of the determined lawyer Amanda McKay in the International Emmy Award-nominated TV medical-legal drama series MDA, as well as for her role as Min Meredith in the mini-series My Brother Jack. Her performances in films such as SOLO, Dead Heart, Paperback Hero, Talk, and What I Have Written have also been highly praised, often described as 'luminous'. On stage, she has worked extensively with the Sydney Theatre Company in productions including The Real Thing, Closer, Betrayal, Three Days of Rain, The White Devil, A Month In the Country, The Herbal Bed, Don Juan, and Three Sisters. She has also performed with Belvoir's Company B in The Tempest, My Zinc Bed, and Masterbuilder, among others, earning nominations for the 'MO' Award and Theatre Critics Circle Award. Recently, Angie guest-starred on CSI: Miami as Audrey Van de Mere, a corrupt diamond dealer, and appeared in the independent feature film Passengers. She divides her time living and working between the United States and Australia.
