Burak Celik - Biography
Burak Celik is a Turkish film producer, distributor, and entrepreneur. He is the founder of BMS Film and VistaMotion Entertainment. Over the years, he has built a diverse career in cinema and television, producing long-running daily dramas, horror franchises, comedy films, and managing international distribution projects.
Educated in film studies in Bulgaria and Russia, Celik combines creative vision with strong business acumen. To date, he has produced more than 10 feature films and led the distribution of over 25 domestic titles across Turkey, Azerbaijan, Russia, Cyprus, Georgia, Kosovo, and beyond. His daily drama Ates ve Gul, designed for both local and global audiences, is one of his most ambitious projects with over 120 planned episodes.
As a producer, Celik is known for his hands-on involvement in technical details-from cinematography and sound recording to set design and post-production-as well as his leadership in negotiating multi-territory licensing agreements.
Under BMS Film and VistaMotion Entertainment, he has produced some of Turkish horror cinema's most popular franchises, including Semur, Ammar, and Alem-i Cin. He has also acquired the Turkish licensing rights for major international titles such as Terrifier, Pathaan Combat, and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, handling their local distribution. In addition, he produced the Turkish absurd comedy film Kadikoy Bogasi, while bringing a wide variety of projects to audiences across Turkey, Europe, MENA, Latin America, and digital platforms.
Celik is also recognized for developing innovative marketing strategies that reach millions of viewers through social media and influencer campaigns, while forging strong international partnerships at global markets such as MIPTV and MIPCOM.
