M. Blair Breard is a producer with over 25 years of experience in the film and television industry. She has received numerous industry nominations, including six Primetime Emmys, five Directors Guild Awards, two Producers Guild Awards, two American Film Institute Awards, three Peabody Awards, and two Gotham Awards. Breard began her career in independent filmmaking with John Sayles' Passion Fish. She has worked on and produced acclaimed films such as I Shot Andy Warhol, written and directed by Mary Harron (nominated for Sundance and Independent Spirit Awards); Margaret, written and directed by Kenneth Lonergan; and Margot at the Wedding, written and directed by Noah Baumbach (nominated for Independent Spirit and Gotham Awards). She served as Executive Producer on The Drop, directed by Academy Award nominee Michael Roskam, and on Netflix’s The Half of It, written and directed by Alice Wu, which won the 2020 Tribeca Film Festival. Breard has also developed groundbreaking television projects, including Louie, Baskets, Better Things, Horace and Pete, and One Mississippi. She was Executive Producer on Scenes From a Marriage, starring Oscar Isaac and Jessica Chastain, for HBO. Additionally, she Executive Produced While You Were Breeding, created and written by Emmy-nominated writer Kristin Newman, and Savant, starring Jessica Chastain, directed by Matthew Heineman and Rachel Morrison, and created by Melissa James Gibson, for Fifth Season and Apple TV.
