Carlos Alperin is an international producer and sales executive with 32 years of experience across film, television, and digital content. Based in Australia, he founded Galloping Entertainment in 2002, an international sales and production company focused on commercially driven feature films, documentaries, and series with strong global appeal.
Since 1994, Carlos has participated in over 130 major film and television markets and festivals, including Cannes, Berlin, Toronto, AFM, MIPTV, MIPCOM, Filmart, Ventana Sur, Busan, TIFFCOM, IDFA, Hot Docs, and the LA Screenings, licensing hundreds of titles worldwide to theatrical distributors, broadcasters, and SVOD platforms.
As a producer, he has been directly involved in the financing, production, and international sales of projects across multiple territories, including the epic historical feature 1242: Gateway to the West, a $13 million Hungarian/Mongolian/UK/Australian co-production. He is financing the $10m historical drama The Last Executioner, and the $30m historical 6 part series Lafayette, with screenplays that have received more than 15 international awards each, underlining their strong creative recognition and commercial positioning.
Carlos has also produced and sold several award-winning documentaries and features around the world, and has developed animated series for international broadcasters.
