Before launching his independent features, Keishawn honed his craft at FX Networks, working behind the scenes on multiple network series, gaining a deep understanding of high-level production pipelines, storytelling precision, and audience psychology. This studio foundation informs his directorial approach today merging disciplined execution with soulful, character-driven narratives.
As the founder of Akwire Agency and Akwire Media Group, Keishawn leads creative teams across film, television, and brand storytelling designing content not only to entertain, but to build movements, communities, and long-term cultural relevance. His debut romantic comedy feature, Jack in the Box, reflects his signature style: warm, emotionally resonant, visually romantic, and deeply human.
