K.S. Haddock was born in Seattle and grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. After gaining a bachelor's in Psychology from U.C. Irvine, he moved back to San Francisco to pursue a writing career. He published the Gen-X novel, The Patricidal Bedside Companion, in 1994 through St. Martin's Press. To support himself and his writing, music and acting pursuits, he worked in advertising as an award winning copy writer before becoming a digital artist. In the 2000's, he finalized for Project Greenlight, adapted and directed Sartre's 'No Exit' as a low budget indie feature, and has won a Best Of Fringe Awards for his musicals, Thanatics, A Rock Opera (2006), Hell, The Musical (2009), And Hitler in the Green Room (2017), all at the San Francisco Fringe Festival. In 2008, he starred in the indie rom-com, Weekend King, as Rupert. In 2019, he joined the Art Department as an Art Director at Industrial Light and Magic and contributed to three seasons of The Mandalorian, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, Andor 1&2, Obi-Wan, Book of Boba Fett, The Acolyte, Skeleton Crew, Indiana Jones: Dial of Destiny, Willow tv series, Ahsoka 1&2, and the film, The Mandalorian and Grogu. His latest novel, Imagine My Surprise! debuts nationally on May 5, 2026. He lives in San Francisco, CA.
