Andréa Zamora is an actress, writer, director, and producer with a lifelong passion for performance. Her artistic foundation began early through dance training beginning at the age of two, followed by theatre and musical theatre at age five. She attended the French American International School, where she became fluent in French at a young age and was already performing in French-language plays. With conversational Spanish and a multicultural performance background, her early exposure to language, storytelling, and movement helped shape the versatility she brings to her work today.
At thirteen, Andréa was accepted into the prestigious San Francisco School of the Arts High School, a pre-professional conservatory program, where she trained in the theatre department and further developed her craft as an actress. At age fifteen, she expanded into the professional dance world, joining her first dance company under acclaimed choreographer Allan Frias of FOX’s So You Think You Can Dance? She went on to perform for major recording artists including Baby Bash and the Black Eyed Peas, gaining early experience in high-level commercial performance.
After relocating to Los Angeles to pursue acting professionally, Andréa began formal training at the legendary Beverly Hills Playhouse, founded by Milton Katselas, where she studied under Chick Vennera. As her artistic journey evolved, she was invited into Aaron Speiser’s master class, where she deepened her emotional access, character work, and commitment to the craft. She later continued her studies with renowned acting teacher Eric Morris, further expanding her range and process as a dramatic actor.
As a multidisciplinary artist, Andréa’s training has extended beyond traditional acting technique. She also studied comedy performance, script analysis, and comedic structure under celebrated coach Lesly Kahn, sharpening both her technical precision and comedic instincts. Her background in vocal performance, movement, dance, and multilingual performance remains an integral part of her creative toolkit, allowing her to bring a physically grounded and dynamic presence to her work.
Expanding into producing and writing, Andréa produced her first four projects, including two that she wrote herself, marking the beginning of her work as a storyteller behind the camera. She later created Why Me?!, a comedic television series in which she stars, writes, directs, and produces, completing a nine-episode first season as part of her continued development of original content.
With a career spanning acting, writing, directing, and producing, Andréa continues to build a body of work defined by versatility, ambition, and bold storytelling.
