Lia Frankland has quickly risen as one of the most captivating young talents in entertainment, celebrated for the emotional authenticity she brings to every role. She is set to star in the eagerly awaited Camp Rock 3, scheduled for release in August 2026.
Lia debuted in feature films alongside Oscar winner Charlize Theron in the critically acclaimed Focus Features movie Tully, earning a Joey Award (Canada, 2018) and a Young Entertainer Award (US, 2019) for her portrayal of Sarah. She later joined the Disney+ series The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers as hockey podcaster Mary Joe and has appeared in several Netflix productions, including The Baby-Sitters Club, Maid, and Devil in Ohio.
Hailing from Vancouver, British Columbia, Lia began her artistic path at age four with vocal lessons and musical theatre. By six, she was enrolled in acting classes where her natural talent was quickly recognized by her coach. With her parents’ encouragement, she connected with leading Canadian agents and was signed within a week.
Her first film role was as Avery, a bullied outsider in the Lifetime movie Betting on the Bride, which won her a 2017 Joey Award for Best Principal or Supporting Actress in a TV Movie (age 9-18). On television, she made her debut as Francie, an asthmatic camper, in Freeform’s supernatural series Dead of Summer.
Beyond acting, Lia is a dedicated musician and performer. She plays piano and guitar, dances, sings, and writes her own songs. She is also multilingual, fluent in English, Spanish, French, and Greek.
